Don't stand too near me

I might have fleas.

No, really, I might. My parents acquired a puppy at the weekend and so my sister and I welcomed it into the family but then we were told that it might have fleas or ticks and that they might spread to us. Nasty little things but the puppy (Milly) is soooooo cute.

Unfortunately, our older dog Lucy was jealous at the best of times and now there's a new dog on her territory getting attention? She's not happy. In fact, she's pretending that the puppy isn't even there. Still, when she gets bigger they'll have to play together. I also had to sleep in the room next to her last night and she whimpered and whined a lot of the time, missing her playmates presumably.

Our cat? Well, our cat is staying well out of it. She likes to walk by herself.

As with my dogs, just behind my ears would be lovely.

Don't worry, SimonWho. If you have fleas, you'd know it. You'd feel them jumping on you and biting you all the bloomin' time.
Be sure to get some Frontline flea meds, and have lots of fun with your new puppy.
