Okiedokie, don't know what all I get to write about or what makes for a good blog, especially here among browncoats, but I'm willing to give it a shot...
I was lucky enough to have gone to see the screening today (June 23)...there aren't any spoilers in this if you're reading and wondering about that...
I had a pretty good time, and even got invited to a shindig. We did quite a bit of singin', a lot of mingling, taking pictures and sittin' in line, and even wound up goin to get dinner and eating while we waited for the theater nazis to let us in. (No offense to the theater naz...uh..employees...really!)
We had one Wash, one Mal, one Zoe, two or three Jaynes, three Kaylees (myself included), no books to speak of, one possible River and one possible Inara...truth was we got all the people in costume to get up front to sing and those two didn't come (or maybe they did and I just wasn't payin' attention....*rubs nonexistant beard in comtemplation*) so I'm givin' them a maybe. Besides...if the girl I though could've been River was goin' for River, she should've had a bigger dress.
Anyhoo...
not much else to say...ain't it a sad way to end, sounding like I'm in the middle, but meh...
All I have to say is...had a great time.
