TDD
Tuesday, May 24, 2005

As many of you know, we are housing a stray dog named Clyde. I have renamed him TDD. It stands for That Damn Dog.
He came into our home as a puppy. We'd found a pregnant dog, and adopted her. (Don't worry, she's fixed now.) Anyway, Clyde is one of her puppies. We had found homes for all of them, but Clyde's family decided they didn't want him anymore and sent him to the humaine society. They were going to put him to sleep, so my soft hearted husband brought him home. (I said no, but I must have no say in this household.)
Anyway, we're trying to find a home for him, and I put up with it.
TDD has chewed up over $100 worth of shoes. He fights with our outher dog (his mother) all the time. He barks all night long. Most of all, he's a reminder that my husband doesn't listen to me.
Another thing most of you know is that I'm expecting twins soon. There is no way I can keep this dog in my house. I gave my husband a date, and I said if he hasn't found a home for TDD by that date I'm taking him back to the humane society.
Well, don't tell my husband, (like you all talk to him on a regular basis,) but I can't take TDD to be killed. It is 2 am here, and I can't sleep, becasue I don't know what I'm going to do. I had every intention of taking him to the humane society, dropping him off, and not looking back. But TDD crawled in my lap yesterday and fell asleep.
WHAT IN THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO?!!!!!!
We can't keep him. Noone else wants him. I can't sleep, and now the damn thing thinks I'm his mommy.
If you think of anyone who would like a dog, have them check out his website. http://www.directfreight.com/clyde
He's fixed and potty trained. Oh, and please please please fix your pets. You don't want someone else going through this crap.

CALLMESERENITY

Oh, poor Starbaby!!
If I could take a dog, I'd seriously consider it. Is there a no-kill animal shelter where you live? They may be able to help you out, and you won't have to worry about him being put down.
I feel so bad for you that you're stressing out about a dog when you're about to have twins! That's the last thing you need.
I really hope this works out for you. Someone's got to want a dog like Clyde!
