It's late, I just got a replaytv hooked up and set to work, I bought anew monitor for my system today and I am dead tired...

Long long techno geek day for me and I work in 5 hours so...

But I wanted to get this first image of the Cargo Bay Set up for everyone's perusal. I have been workign on textures and modeling all day and it is coming along.

I have taken a few liberties with the look but the layout is very similair.

I have re-arranged the catwalk and steps a little, and still have a ways to go - more catwalks, plus the shuttle entry and cockpit entry.

But --- It is coming along.

Bessie is included for a little scale.

I am pleased thus far.

They are star trek versions of what I am doing with Firefly.

Any 3d modelers out there want to go to work on a shuttle craft exterior for me? Come on... You know you want to ...

Saint Jayne - thanks for the suggestions. Once it's all put together it willa ctually be shot in 16x9 so it will be more than just a big still pic. Hopefully that will help. And once it's populated with lighting, actors and more stuff. ;)

Oh, suggestion, it looks like some Command and Conquor game right now (I now it's in progress) but perhaps a fish-angle lens might look good?
