I know that just about all of you have dozens in each episode but here's my favorite...

OUT of GAS
The whole sequence when Mal is left alone on Serenity after he sends everyone off on the shuttles...The music, his matter-of-fact approach to closing all the doors behind him, getting situated in the chair with the blanket, it's just hypnotic

Also, just before that when they realize that he is staying...the looks on their faces

HUMBLE


OIS: When River is propped up on the railing just listening to what's being said about her by all the others. That had to have hurt her a good deal. Really felt sorry for her.

Oof! It's so hard to choose just one. I love the end of Shindig, when Kaylee goes back to her bunk, turns on the music, and sits there looking at her fancy dress. What a gorgeous little moment.

HEADED4HOLLYWOOD


my fave is the whole funeral scene in "The Message". The music and the falling snow was just spectacularly beautiful. And Kaylee and Simon holding hands didn't hurt:)

RONALDRAYGUN


Mine has got to be in Objects In Space when Early is on board and he is struggling with Simon(I think). We flash to Jayne who wakes up in his bunk with a pissed off look on his face. He then rips down the curtain over his bunk displaying all of his weapons. I started thinking "Oh yeah, Jayne's going to come out with guns blazing" at which point Jayne pulls the curtain over his shoulders and rolls back over to sleep.
