I am ashamed to say that I got into this show very late in the day (I watched season 1 back in August) partly because it sounded like a rip off of Jake 2.0 and partly because when I heard that it was actually really good I had too many other shows on the go to watch another. So it was put on the back burner. I am so glad that I did finally get around to watching it although it didn't really grab me until the truth serum episode (can't remember the actual title). After that I was hooked. Haven't decided yet whether to get this from the US or wait till it's available over here.

I also am calm.. I plan to leave the S2 dvd there on the Wal-Mart shelf, next to the S1 dvd I didn't buy. Chuck is an OK show, watch each episode once on hulu, but not interesting enough to re-watch or buy a dvd.

I'm looking forward to S3, which starts next week, and am geting S2 via Netflix, but no, I wouldn't buy it. I rarely buy things except those I know I'm going to watch over and over, and while Chuck is enjoyable, it's not earth-shaking for ME--tho' I'd call it better than "OK".

The title's been changed since the thread was started. It is back to the original but was changed to "Who's looking forward to Season Three Sunday" or something like that.

Bad Chrisisall. I wish people would stop changing the titles of threads, and I hope that is one of the things Haken fixes with the revamped site.

Season two DVD update:
Just watched the 3D ep- missed it first time around... it was cool, but I'm only gonna watch it that way this once. BTW, the 3D version is at the end of special features on the last disc- there, I saved y'all some hunting.
The gag reel is hi-larious, as expected.
The comic is a nice BB extra, but don't have kittens if you didn't get it.
The stunt featurette is great too.
Jeez, I don't hardly have time for all the extras tonight!

I am SOOOOOOOO looking forward to seeing what they do with/to Chuck this season! The preview where Jeff goads Chuck with Kung-fu and gets clobbered cracks me up every time I see it.

How many other times will Chuck accidentally use his new powers at the wrong time?

It should be more than just a little entertaining.

Not to mention, it's going to put him on a more even keel skill-wise with Casey and Sarah.

Ironically, I'm going to be totally confused. They played end of season two (?) and we've been watching that (lead-up to the new season I assume?) But I just rented season 2 from Netflix and it will be coming in dribs and drabs, because I didn't start watching until late, and watched season 1 by renting the DVDs

So I'm going to be totally confused, with the new season starting up Monday. Augh!!!

(Worth it, tho', having it come via Netflix means I have something to WATCH when TV sux--which is most of the time).

I was lucky enough to watch season 2 when it originally aired. The wife bought season 2 then did a Chuck marathon just prier to the 2 Hour Sunday premier.

I began watching Chuck out of a sense of loyalty to Adam Baldwin (I do that with many of the FF actors) and really got into it. It is a very fun show and the season 3, 2 hour premier aired right after Serenity was shown on the Scy/Fy channel Sunday night.

Monday night there will be a new Chuck and a new Castle so I’m happy for it all. Sure wish Jewel, Summer, Gina, Alan and Morena could make guest appearances on either show. I think many browncoats are following ABC and NBC television shows because they are employing our BDHs.

I can’t believe they killed Milbarge that way. Holy crap! His character was a little annoying but Geezzzz….. I thought he’d be around to give our BCH, (Big Chuck Hero) hell all season. Guess not.

IMDb has been know to be incorrect in the past, and I think this is another indication of it. The cast information was probably just carried over from the previous season. I do hope Anna will be back, but I won't be surprised if she's missing all year. They have her listed for the second episode that aired last night and we know she did not appear and she was also missing from the opening credits. Perhaps one of the budget concessions they had to make for renewal.

I had a very slight problem with the retcon concerning Morgan's failure in Hawaii & Anna's running off thing, but otherwise it was 100% perfect IMO.

First, I last season ended w/ the Awesome's wedding, so why did it seem like, as they were unpacking, it's been a long time ? I got that it's been 8+ years since they first MET, but ..anyways, I got a bit confused on that. The recap made it seem like they had just gotten married, but there's been a whole off season thingy to take into account.

Also, and this is sorta key....exactly when did Awesome find out that Chuck was w/ the CIA ? Kinda changes the landscape, a bit.

Very possible I missed that ep, yes. Awesome, though proficient in many areas, doesn't seem to be the sort who can keep such a secret of this magnitude very well. Especially from the likes of Chuck's beautiful and brilliant sister.

I was ready to start an angry letter writing campaign if they had killed off Awesome. I usually don't watch the next ep preview but I'm glad I did this time.

As for the time lapse, this is happening approximately six months after the Season Two finale, which is when Ellie and Awesome got married. Their move didn't begin until the second episode that aired last night. They've moved to another apartment in the same complex and supposedly Morgan is rooming with Chuck now in their old apartment, although we did not see Morgan tonight.

Chuck revealed the secret to Awesome in the next to last episode last season, after Awesome broke into Casey's apartment which set off alarms and trapped him inside.

As for Awesome, I think I may have caught that ep, while wandering back and forth in front of the t.v. I think I kinda remember it, but am fuzzy on the particulars, so it slipped my mind. Might need to Hulu it to refresh my memory.

I like House, but it's being recorded and watched AFTER I see Chuck "live"!!
