I'm not trusting it, because I trust nothing until it happens, but it looks like my health insurance isn't going anywhere.
Looks like my health insurance is actually better than it was before. I'll have to talk to my dentist and optometrist to see what that means on their end too because it looks like if I had this classification when I got my dentures they would have been free. With my realignment that's about $5000 I wouldn't have had to pay out of pocket in pre-Joe Bidenflation money.
I'm not dicking around though. Especially not in my state. Going to find me some way of making at least $600 a month by January so somebody doesn't pull the rug out from under me after telling me that they can't take it away from me now. Jack could use a jolt to the bank account and a day or two per week out of the house anyhow. Just got to find a place that only wants help on weekends or something. I'll do holidays too!

Yup, I hate the strobe light when I have to go for an EEG. It is hard and tiring. Not long till the neuro. Thursday in fact. My regular doc figures one of my meds will have to go up.

This is a good one too SIX and it almost had me in tears in two ways. My dad one. A friend from high school said she asked me about my dad once when we were in school. She said I almost took her head off. I don't remember really but I can imagine why. Second is Blair.

The day I lose my dad is going to be the real challenge. I lost my friends Dad, my Grams then got the Diabetes diagnosis all in 5 months. I still haven't come back from any of that.

I know it will be for you with your dad. I didn't realize all that happened within 5 months. That is a very heavy load of hurt and anger to carry.
Yeah, good times and when he was to stubborn to listen to anyone. When I knew something wasn't going to happen but I let him make the offer anyways.
It let me have a little cry over the losses.

Well back from the neurologist. My appointment was for 1pm but I know it was longer than his receptionist said of 15minutes. Any way the usual questions and what I thought caused the three little 'brain farts" as he calling them in succession. That I don't know or the big one for me. He asked if I was sleeping okay or I had missed any of them. Which is no. I didn't start having a hard to sleep after the big one and those 3 little blips.
So, long story short he is putting the Keppra back to 3 in the morning and the same 3 at night. He is also booking me for an EEG to see if something isn't working. He doesn't want to put me on anymore medication as I am already taking a fair amount.
Looks like it is wait and see time.

Has anyone brought up repeat surgery? It seems like you're kind of at the end of the road as far as meds are concerned.

Yanno, I never felt like anyone had my back consistently. I left home not on the best of terms and then moved across country, so my gran and mom and dad, sisters, aunts, uncles haven't been part of my life for years and years. Even hubby... he's reliable in the big things but not a very warm person. Pretty much left to sink or swim in school, at work, at home. Can't imagine being bereft. Maybe it's for the best.

You had a tumor removed, correct? Sometimes removing the tumor leaves scar tissue, which itself can cause seizures.
Well, there's epilepsy surgery as well, where the epileptogenic focus is removed. Dear daughter was evaluated for that many times.

Yes, I did. The first neurologist I saw talked about scar tissue be responsible for the seizures. Oh, yes. We've talked about the surgery before. But I think it would depend where the tumor was. Mine was on my brain stem, so I don't think that would make a candidate for the surgery. That was why this neurologist was so surprised that I survived the initial surgery to remove it.

Looks like we've got some options for free games. Not as good as Yahoo games, and the only Mah Jong site I found you'd need to translate the page, but they don't have a bunch of flashy graphics and constant ad blitzes.
