SERENITY PT.2 RIVER DREAMS

The inside of the Firefly is quiet and cold, dim lights everywhere. Like the twilight, it's light but still you can't see all that well. A low Humming of the engine can be heard through the hulls of the ship.
A scream comes from the passengers quarters. A scream so loud that it wakes the entire crew. River is in the floor by the bunk hands to her head rocking back and forth talking to herself. "Not dead, it's all a dream. Has to be a dream. Their not dead." Simon comes running in her room. "Mei Mei, what happened? who's not dead?" River looks up at him with the look of saddness in her eye's as she says, "Wash and the preacher man. Their dead... In here." As she points to her head with her finger.
Simon comforts her in his arms and says. "Their not dead. Wash is right there, see." as he points to her doorway where the others are at as Mal comes up pushing the others out of the way. "Jien tah-duh guay is going on here Doc? I can't sleep well at night when your ruttin sister is scaring the hell out of my crew. If Wash was dead we all be dead becuase he's the one flying this thing... Right Wash...? Wash?" Mal looks over to see Wash standing there with his head down. "Well, Mal, I was, uhm in my bunk with Zoe when River made me go alittle earlier than I plained to. Sorry Capt. I just want to know why I'm dead?" Jayne looks at him and says. "Well at least your not alone. Book is there with you." Wash looks at Jayne. "Gezz that makes it all better doesn it. Why can't Jayne be dead to. Oh, that's right he's the town hero."
Jayne looks at Wash and says, "Like I said before, that was not my fault." Mal looks around at everyone and says, "Alrighty then, if you don't mind we have a job to do in a few hours, so if you could please control your sister so we can get some sleep, because some of use get alittle crotchety when we'er tired. Doma?"
River looks around and grabs her head and starts to talk again. "Reavers, Alliance, Miranda." She turns her head quickly to Mal. "Reavers, They didn't lie down. They will come if they go." Mal looks at Simon. " What in the hell is she babbling about there doc?" simon looks at Mal, then to river. " I'm not sure Capt." Mal looks over at Zoe that is by Wash holding his hand. "This is a little more than we need to know right now." Zoe looks at Mal. "Do you think sir. She said that my husband was dead. That kind of concerns me sir."
