I've read about "shindigs" and other BC gatherings and was wondering if there is anything like this in Oklahoma? Preferably the Tulsa area.

Lawrence Kansas had their event in June, so that's out of the picture.

I think I was in Oklahoma once....I have a vague recollection of black and silver horse statues, and red dirt...though that trip was close to twenty years ago and I was just a kid, so I could be wrong....

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

There's another guy 'round here from Oklahoma I believe, goes by the handle of DuKhangVet or something like that. I have exchanged emails with him, and unfortunately was unable to meet him at the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo back in February due to several scheduling snafus and the chaotic nature of how they were handling the huge crowd.

There is another one coming up in October. Gina Torres and Alan Tudyk will be at the Irving Convention Center on the 20th and 21st, signing autographs and offering photo ops.
