I know this isn't very exciting news for anyone else but it is for me. Today I spotted my first Toronto Browncoat! I saw a green Subaru Legacy with the licence plate "MEIMEI".

I just wrote my first fanfic! It's a Simon and Kaylee thing but Mal and River do appear in the story. It takes place the second "Serenity" the movie ends, it's pretty short just to get a feel for the characters. I would really appreciate if people read it and gave me some feedback so I can see where I wanna go with it. It's called "Going Well" and it can be found in the Blue Sun Room and in my profile. Also if anyone is willing to beta for me seeing as I have none I would appreciate that. Big Damn Thank You to anyone who comments :biggrin: Little Damn Thank You if you at least took the time to read it :smile: As for the rest of you :disappointed:...

Well my uncle Edwin just passed today. He had been fighting a long battle with cancer that finally got the best of him. I never knew him personally but my mom is very upset. She'll be going to Alberta for his funeral soon, so it'll just be me and my dad (which will probably be a total disaster). It really sucks to see my mom this way, she is the youngest of 9 so it probably won't be the last time this happens. :(

I've been sick for the past 2 days which sucks, but I've been able to squeeze out a few fics and I'm very excited. They'll be up in the Blue Sun Room as soon as I get a beta reader to edit them a bit. They'll be titled You're Beautiful, Interesting Day (this one I'm not so I'm sure of we'll have to see) and the last one is called Captainy Things which is the continuation of Going Well. I also have a bunch of ideas for my series, I think I've discovered my muse!!!
