Hardpan Brainpan
Friday, 08 January 2010 06:23:37

This accurately describes the state of my brain lately. And the state of my (writers block), sad to say, on one little tiny part of Albatross, for those who saw the first of that more than a month ago and wondered where it got to. I've got a whole bunch ready, I've just got to get that part out of the way. In the meantime, if you're in a mood for humor, Ice Cream Social is up. According to Webster's (y'all love them fancy books where they got the words in 'em, don't ya?) HARDPAN(n): 1. A layer of hard subsoil or clay. Also called caliche. 2. Hard, unbroken ground. 3. A foundation; bedrock. Yeah, so all of the above should be pretty satisfactory to say that although BEFORE my beloved brainpan fit definition #2, I've actually posted something so I treat the dry calcified grey matter as #3, a foundation, the AFTER stage of my miraculous As Seen On TV non-procrastination diet. As in golf, it's always harder to hit from hardpan. But I'mma gonna do it. So stay tuned, sportsfans, because there's more to see.

"I read the manual."
Tuesday, 12 January 2010 19:45:46

It's a post-holer. Digging holes for posts. I read the manual. Always do. Winging it, because there is so much outside the lines to color. Like tears in rain. That's how I roll. Yeah. My only question is, what if there's no posts? Beam me up, Serenity. I want to go home.

Albatross Up and Running
Monday, 18 January 2010 04:29:47

From here on out, should be smooth sailing. Or flying. Now, I don't normally make a log just as a shameless plug for a fic, but that's what this is. Anyone looking for salacious details on my personal life will be sorely disappointed. For those who have been interested (or will be interested) in ALBATROSS, I wanted to let you know that from now on, there should be a regular posting schedule. None of those petty fly-by-night operations that always get ya caught in the lurch. As before, questions, comments and wacky speculation are highly encouraged. Now go discuss like crazy Epileptic Trees!
