SHE'S HERE!!! MY NIECE IS HERE!!!after 9 months of pregnancy, 48 hours of labour, an epidural and a near-caesarean, little ailidh fyfe-arnott was finally born two weeks late at 8pm melbourne time on the 20th of april weighing 6lbs 15oz to proud parents lisa and ian.
i've already started on her first jayne-hat.

That's fairly small for two weeks late. My brother was three weeks premie and he weighed about that.

I became an aunt just this January, so I too have a new niece, though she was a couple weeks early and only weighed 5lbs9oz!
Ain't it an awesome feeling?? I'm just amazed that my little brother is a dad heehe.
Wish I knew how to knit though... a baby-jayne hat would be awesome!!!

Yea! Happy times! Being an aunt is great. She's got a spiffy name, too.
Sometimes, if babies are too late they start using up the stored fat and they get small. I'm glad all are healthy!
