| Christmas Carols turned Firefly

I had the bright idea to turn "angels" to "Browncoats" and the songs started falling out. I have filked three different Christmas songs.

That Unification War
As Browncoats huddled in defeat
And freedom turned to lore
Alliance, with their stone cold hearts,
Proclaimed their victory
And Browncoats fled into the Black
To find serenity.
2. Oh fly! Oh fly! Serenity
(To the tune of 'Oh, come, oh come, Emmanuel')
In to the Black, Serenity
And hide from your enemy
Alliance makes work harder each year
But to their laws, you never will adhere!
Oh fly! Oh fly! Serenity
No, you can't take the sky from me.
3. Our Mrs. Reynolds
(To the tune of 'The Christmas Song' aka 'Chestnuts roasting on an open fire')
Protein cooked on an electric grill
Cross-wired engine running well
Captain's wife puckers lips that can kill
And Book lectures on 'Special Hell'
Everybody knows a good myth and a good night kiss
Cause an upright man to swoon
Sabotage sets the course all amiss
While Saffron flees to a nearby moon!
We are so humped and flying blind!
The warrants for our deaths have all been signed!
Though Wash and Kaylee may ever try
They cannot change this course we fly!
And so Jayne's Vera comes to save the day
And through that net, our vessel flew
Got our shuttle, and we all got away!
Faithful Firefly, fly true.
