| I thought this ep was an even better character study of Mal than 'Out of Gas' ...Showed how truly 'verse savvy he is...When he's being 'interrogated' by Hakan, even though Mal's seated and Hakan is standing, Mal still has the upper hand

I respect your opinion though I am not certain I agree with it. The interogation scene lost all believablity for me when Mal was allowed to accompany the Alliance guys back to Serenity. Surely any military types would keep there prisoners in more secure circumstances.
I dont enjoy poking holes in Firefly plots, thankfully there are very few.

"Bushwhacked" is actually my least favorite Firefly episode. I think it would have been better had the Alliance ship not been there. If the episode had been all about battling Reavers, this could have been a big thriller -- right up there with "Ariel" and "The Message"
