I only found out about "Firefly" when I saw previews for the show on "The Science Channel" in 2011.

The first episode I watched was "Trash" and I now I'm hooked as a Browncoat for life! The plot was engaging and intriguing, the characters were amazing, the music was incredible...a guitar and kettle drums! Who knew they would sound so cool together? I REALLY loved the intricate caper and ALL of the ingenious filming techniques!

I purchased the season and watched every episode in one giant marathon...and then I watched them again...and again...and again!
I am a hard core Browncoat now and I really only wish I didn't miss the movement to save the show.

I was raised on a cattle farm in Ohio and I was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, so I really connect mostly with Mal. I connect with Jayne big time when it comes to his love of firearms and I connect with Kaylee because she reminds me of every ex-girlfriend I ever had wrapped up into one adorable, endearing package. I REALLY connect with these ingenious characters!

My favorite episodes are "Ariel" and "Out of Gas". The moment I actually started my love affair with the show was at the end of "Shindig". Come on, how awesome was that? I want to start a life-long friendship with EVERY Browncoat I ever meet!
