MESSAGE BOARDS GETTING HACKED...

Unlike the hackers who got into the White Wolf forums and took personal information, these hackers, deleting scripts and causing misc. damage, forcing Animesuki to clear the server compeletely and re-install. They had intended to restore from backups, however, the backups were corrupted as well, with the only functional backup being from January 2005. Thus, they lost a helluva lot. In my opinion, the bastards who did this are an even lower scum then those who hacked White Wolf's boards. They did take people's personal information, but they didn't damage the actual forums, so they are still functional. On the other hand, this case was nothing but wanton destruction. They didn't do it for personal gain, nor for any form of white-hat hacking. They just did it to be assholes. They did it to break shit. I hope they go to the special hell, the one reserved for serial killers and people who deliberatly match speed next to you on the freeway to be jerks.
