According to Kelly's latest entry on the Official Firefly Website, the yet untitled episode following Out of Gas, will go into a bit more details about what happened to River at the Academy, the Alliance's special research center for the gifted. We're told the Blue Gloved ones, who made their initial presence known in The Train Job, will appear once again in the episode.

This ep looks to be a little more interesting than the first two. Which I did enjoy, but which lacks the sense of, well, immersion I got from the pilot.

I have to comment that I'm very glad Rebecca Gayheart bailed. Morena Baccarin is perfect as Inara, and Gayheart just doesn't have the same screen presence.

JOSS, WHERE'S MY CHECK???!!!

Did Gayheart's new series, Dead Like Me, premiere on Showtime yet? Gayheart co-stars with Mandy Patinkin.

OMG! What if Joss Whedon is the one that kidnapped the monkey?! What if he's turning the Monkey into a stuffed Monkey reever as a prop for a later episode?!

I really should cut my caffine intake by half.
