Over at hsx.com one can have virtual stock in a film, actor, etcetera.

I was amazed/ amused to see Gina Torres has the StarBond of the day (she is considered a movie at the moment *L*) at http://www.hsx.com/

Her virtual stock is starting at $85

Her page over at HSX is

http://movies.hsx.com/servlet/SecurityDetail?symbol=GTORR

AND

Both Nathan [ http://movies.hsx.com/servlet/SecurityDetail?symbol=NFILL] ($11.56/ share at this moment)

and Joss [ http://movies.hsx.com/servlet/SecurityDetail?symbol=JWHED] ($17.58/ share at this moment) have StarBonds listed too

AND
David Boreanaz of Angel fame[ http://movies.hsx.com/servlet/SecurityDetail?symbol=DBORE] is still quite reasonable at $3.67/ share

That's wicked cool.
somebody ought to set up something similar for video games.

Kaylee, take that kid taking a dirt nap with baby Jesus; we need a hood ornament. Jayne, try not to steal too much of their shit.

Interesting! This could have some influence in bringing back Firefly. I still don't see how, but can't stock value of an actor or director have an impact on what Hollywood produces in future?

Oooo, Shiny! I've never heard of HSX before today, but it looks like fun, and an easy way to show support for my favorite show/movie and actors! I'm going to go sign up, thanks!

Oh, and gotta love IMDB. ;)
