Whoa, Angel's ep last night had me LMAO. I thought it was gr8! I particularly LOL when Angel said, "Come on, I'm holding your head in my hand" when he cut the demon's head off...And when Fred said, " Ever heard of payback, well I'm the bitch" right b4 she was goin 2 kill the professor (FunE stuff there)

Ok, do you u guys remember when Gunn told Fred "If you kill him, i'll lose you"? Well, was it me or did any of u on here find it 2 weird that, Gunn snapped the professor's neck & pushed him in the portal???? I was so not expecting that! And Fred had this shocked look on her face after like, damn, "YOU, KILLED HIM FOR ME? What was up with that? I also thought it was weird that Fred & Gunn lied 2 Angel--leaving out the part about Gunn killing the prof & pushing him in. Deep don't ya think? I wonder what Joss has in store 4 Gunn & Fred now that they've gone against what they believe in. Any cool feedback appreciated. (Kiki) ~~>BizzGal@aol.com

Gunn knew that if Fred killed the professor, she would never be the same. She would change; not be Fred anymore. Gunn would lose her. So to save her, he killed the professor. He killed him so Fred wouldn't have to. He took that darkness for her, even though he knew it would kill a part of him to do it. Love makes you do the wacky.

"They talk about me in the chatty rooms...?"

Lotsa laughs and much better stuff for Gunn and Fred to do this week. It was great to see a Fred-centric episode. I think Amy Acker is doing great things with Winifred.

Looking forward to next week's Whedon directed episode!

The episode rocked, as most Angel episodes do. One of the reasons that it is one of my favorite shows is that each character has their flaws and the line between good and evil isn't as simple as we would want to believe. I mean, how many other shows have main characters who have A-murdered someone, B-Allowed a massacre to occur and did nothing to stop it, C-have betrayed and/or tried to kill other protagonists in the show? Personally I was hoping Dark Angel would follow suit, but the writers on that show didn't have the balls to write it. The initial premise had all the pieces there, but they whitewashed it and made Alba's character just another superhero. Hence, why it was canceled :(.

Sorry I digress. Anyhow, as for the last show of Angel, gotta love the inner character conflict and the funniness of it all. I mean, the writers practically bashed us over the head about the disparity between who we fall in love with and who we probably should be with. IE-Fred, Gun, Wesley, and super bitch lawyer girl. I mean, how many of us have looked at a friend of ours and said to ourselves, "They are sooo not meant for each other, but hell, they're in love so who knows?"

As for the lying. Who hasn't lied to who in Angel? It's what makes the relationships between the characters so interesting. Yeah, the truth might set you free, but lying makes for better drama! Now only if the characters in FF start lying to each other... Right now the crew of FF is one big happy family, personally I think they should start getting into some group dynamics. After all, what family doesn't fight? And I don't mean the little itty bitty arguments the crew has gotten into already. I'm talking some deep down you betrayed me, I'm jealous of you, I rather you were not around when I'm with so and so type feuding. :)

Keep in mind that at first Angel was just one big happy family. Everyone lived in harmony with everyone else. About the only major deciet in the first season was Doyle staying in the closet, which was dealt with quickly and painlessly in "Hero." Then in the second season they kicked over the ant hill with Darla.

I think that's what Joss is doing with Firefly. He's establishing the group, building the bonds between them, so he can later smash them into ittle-bitty tiny bits.

I agree... this episode rocked. I was watching it with my friends, and as the professor was holding on to the desk for dear life, one of them said "someone will stop it, they won't let Fred be a cold-blooded killer." To which I replied "Fred and Gunn have been a perfectly happy couple for too long. this is a Whedon show. It's about time for something major to smash them apart." Then as Gunn snapped the guys neck, someone else said "but she said what she loved about Gunn was that he couldn't do something like that...." and I said "SEE! I told you!"

I felt so bad for poor Wesley... You could see in his face while he was watching Fred give her speech that he still has feelings for her. And then when she said the thing about Gunn not having it in him being one of the things she loved... Wes looked crushed. I'm ready for him to come back into the group now. He's done his penance.

Lilah saw that he had feelings too. She was looking mighty jealous. Hopefully this will finally break them apart. It's creeping me out that they are starting to have more and more of a "relationship".
