This is kind of silly, but, I've been playing around with Wolfram Alpha, a computational engine, and remembered something to look up...

Somebody a few weeks ago posted the results to the nutritional value of a cubic lightyear of butter. Got me thinking...

What is the volume of the observable universe?

Turns out it's 4*10^32 light-years cubed.

What if you wanted a universe with... nothing but shrimp?

Well, I took the volume of the universe, and filled it with shrimp. Turns out it would weigh 1.814*10^83 kilograms.

But... just how many shrimp is that, one may ask?

Taking an average weight of 55 grams per shrimp, we get 3.299*10^84 or 3,299,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 shrimp!

How many is that of the jumbo variety, though...? Heck if I know... go play with Wolfram Alpha yourself!

Okay, I have to ask - how much volume would that be, in bunnies? :)

And the fact that these calculations come from a system with "Wolfram" in the name just makes it even more apropos. . .
