Personally I voted for Season 4 (but most folks here know that about me)

And for Buffy (who is losing to Spike and Willow)

I belonged to Spike websites for a long time, and I do dearly love Willow, but as I've been rewatching the series I am struck again by how really continuously interesting Buffy's path/growth is,
and how consistantly good SMG is.

BTW last night I was watching S1 'Nightmares' with a friend...and I was reminded that one of Buffy's nightmares was a fear of being buried alive.
Did Joss know then that he would make her dig her way out of her own grave in S6?

(shudder)
