I was just watching one of Jeffrey Combs many characters and had a thought: who's your favorite all around sci fi actor.

I love him as Shran. While Wayoun was good, I liked Brunt better. I have a thing for Ferengi--they're so cute.

Let's see, he also played in Bablyon, Voyager, Beauty and the Beast, Twilight Zone, um...what else? Oh he does cartoons too!

I agree that Combs is fantastic, even though it's kind of sad that he's only a guest star but is the best actor on Enterprise. If you're talking about an actor that appears on numerous sci-fi shows, I'd go with him. As for all-time sci-fi actors, regardless of how many different shows they've been on, Patrick Stewart and Nathan Fillion are at the top of my list.

I'm going to go with David Warner - in terms of the sheer number of things he has appeared in. Much like De Niro, there are a number of films/TV shows where he sometimes to phone it in, but that's still more interesting than pretty much everyone else on screen.

Chains of Command Part II - Stewart and Warner. If anyone needs any reminding that Trek could do good stuff, its right there.

There are four lights!!!

Ronny Cox is my LEAST favorite scifi actor. I don't care what he's in or who he's playing - I don't like the guy. He's talented, but he's played so many weasly bastards over the years, I can't watch him.

Jeffrey Combs was also in "Reanimator" and was hilarious in "The Frighteners".

I love Ice Pirates. I know it's a horrible movie, but I love it.

If you think that was bad, find a royal stink burger called The King's Guard. Ron Perlman AND Eric Roberts. In the same movie. Shudder.
