Hi,

Any Canadians watching SG Atlantis? Apparently you all are getting the new episodes before we are here in the states. We won't get them until January. What ep are you all up to?

Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.

Last ep I saw was the one where Atlantis is taken over while everyone is off-world for the storm. Then they started repeating the episodes and I stopped paying attention. As far as I know we're at the same spot as the US. I have heard that they are further ahead in Britain.

I hope I haven't missed anything... I think I'll go investigate this.

I don't normally reply to myself but I thought that any Canadian fans who weren't aware that new episodes were airing again (like me) would want to know.

Tonight (Monday, Nov. 15 - actually right now) TMN is airing 'The Defiant One.' It's two episodes past what has aired in the States.

And in other Stargate news, Sci-fi has picked up both SG-1 (season nine) and Atlantis (season two) for next year (Summer 2005).

Well, that's good to know (that SG:A has been picked up for another year, not that you've missed a couple of eps).

Sweet!

I wonder if, assuming Space is caught up to the end of S8, Sci-Fi will let them simulcast.

If so, it'll be the first time in 8 years that the US and Canada will get a Stargate season at the same time.

(And yeah, still no sign of SG:A for us non movie-network types.)
