If you’re not familiar with the book, a Firefly class is one of the main character’s vehicles.
Rumor is it makes an appearance in the movie.

I had not heard that.

Saw another trailer for it, and it's looking more intriguing. At first, I was sorta... " meh ". All I heard about was the amazing visuals.

I don't care about FX / CGI if there's no gorram story. I saw Avatar. It was nice. A complete rip off of Disney's Pocahontas, but hell, still watchable. Wasn't worth the hype though, imo.

I hope there's more than a ' blink and ya miss it ' appearance, like in BSG.

Nice

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

Anybody ever read "Dream Park"? I wonder how close RPO is to this story.

Quote:

As in the early role playing games, there are Dungeon Masters, warriors, magicians, and thieves. The difference? At Dream Park, a futuristic fantasy theme park full of holographic attractions and the latest in VR technology, they play in an artificial enclosure that has been enhanced with special effects, holograms, actors, and a clever storyline. The players get as close as possible to truly living their adventure. All is fun and games until something goes horribly wrong.

Dream Park, including the novels Dream Park, The Barsoom Project, and The Moon Maze Game, is a science fiction series by Larry Niven and Stephen Barnes.

It's lead is a kid. It's a modern day massive kid movie. Might watch it on Netflix when it shows up but not sure I'd last more than 15 minutes before moving on.

Yep, it is surely far beyond your level. Get back to your minions and stay away from kids who are way over your head.

Finally got to watch it now it’s out on bluray.
Fun flick, not great by lots of eye candy.

Especially that Firefly.
