There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Anyone else have Amazon Prime, and if so have you watched any of their new pilots? I may check out a couple of others later, but this morning I watched the only one that really appeals to me. Based on a novel by Philip K. Dick, The Man in the High Castle is an alternate history tale about the Axis powers winning WWII, and now the US is divided into German-held territory in the East with the Japanese controlling the Western states, with some neutral territory in the middle.

There were a few minor changes, with the title character being someone who produced a Pro-American propaganda film rather than writing a book, but the title of both is the same - "The Grasshopper Lies Heavy." No telling how many other changes they might make if it goes to full series, but I would likely watch it if they produce more. I graded it "above average," but that was based mainly on the production values rather than the writing and acting.

I did not realize Alexa Davalos had been in Angel.

Well, I did, and I liked her as Gwen Raiden quite a bit and had hoped she would be featured more than just three episodes, or even get her own spin-off.

So I assume you knew of her from Chronicles of Riddick ?

Just saw this thread, and wow... I really enjoyed the 1st season. 2nd season was a bit ... IDK, I thought they'd give more insight to what exactly in the hell was going on. Sorta yes, but not really.

A 3rd season is on the way, I believe. I am hopeful.

Yes, Chronicles and then The Mist.

Alos, until just now I don't think I recalled Vin Diesel in Awakenings, before Private Ryan - but I may not have rewatched Awakenings lately. Suffering through Robin just to see the excellence of all the rest has been a quandary.
