There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Syfy is finally getting around to running the pilot film for "Three Inches," which stars James Marsters. It will be on next Thursday night, December 29, at 9pm EST. Even though their schedule has it identified as a "pilot" there are no other listings for the show through January at least. I had thought it was a given that they were not picking it up for series, so you would think they would identify it as one of their "Original" movies and run it on a Saturday. The fact they haven't promoted it on their own homepage, plus it's on in the middle of a holiday week when nearly everything else is in repeats, leads me to believe they're dumping it and we'll likely never hear of it again.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

I still remember with a certain amount of bitter sadness that this pilot caused a DragonCon appearance cancellation. It sounded ridiculous then, and it sounds ridiculous now, but I'll probably give it a shot, just to see if it was at all worth it.

What reason had proved best ceased to look absurd to the eye, which shows how idle it is to think anything ridiculous except what is wrong.

The word was that the premise was a bit too close to Alphas, which had also been in development a long time before we saw it, so Syfy requested Three Inches be retooled into a comedy.

I'll give it a shot as well. Any Sci-Fi show deserves a shot. Also remember James canceling last minute and the disappointment it caused. But it was offset by meeting you and by the BDHs there(Jewell, Sean, Summer, and Morena) who made for some hilarious panels.

Oh, what is it supposed to be about? I haven't heard a darn thing about this, but I rather like James Marsters.

That was a good year. And the photo I got with Sean remains one of my favorites.

Underpowered superheroes. The title comes from the main character, who can move things telekinetically, but only three inches. James Marsters played the leader of some sort of ragtag group the 'three inches' guy joins.

Oh wow... I just recently saw James in an ep of Torchwood, ( season 2 ? ) Yeah, I'm a bit behind the curve there too. I guess I should look for Naoko Mori's character to exit the show sometime, hmmm?

No spoilers, please.

Oh, he's the reason I started watching Torchwood. I would have liked to see more of him, I think he made a fantastic counterweight to Jack Harkness.

Spoiling as lightly as possible, "Children of Earth" will make you cry. Multiple times.

Yeah, James does some really good crazy guy stuff. Warm one second, then straight into psycho. Which is why he made Spike so damn watchable.

Yeah, catching the show now. Does feel like ALPHAS team 2. But I’m still liking it. I’d like to see it be given a chance.

It was okay, nothing great and certainly nothing original. But can you be that original with a "people with powers" show these days? It wasn't as good as Heroes' Season One, about on a par with Alphas and Misfits. I'm sure this is all we will ever see of it though.
