Expired, forgotten, spoiled rotten.

Very sad, but at least syfy is giving them a half season closeout. I only recently got into the show and I'm not quite caught up, but I will be in time to watch the last season on broadcast TV. Good show. Too bad.

It was an enjoyable show until they rolled back time and started playing syfy soap opera with it last year. I quit watching it then. I'm guessing that I had lots of company.

I was told this year that they had realized their mistake with the soap opera bit and stopped it. So I started watching the show again. Too late.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I've been a fan of Eureka from the beginning. Can't say I've loved everything about it, but most everything, including the alternate timeline. Even though they have already started filming Season Five I'm confident they can fashion an acceptable conclusion. At least they know it's going to be the end, that's more than a lot of shows get.

What's up with this "Why is Warehouse 13 still on the air?" sentiment?

What is so terribly bad about it, that it warrants cancellation?

I think it’s kinda sad about Eureka. I was never a great fan of the show but it had it’s moments. Don’t think that I was able to watch a full episode without getting distracted, think this may have plagued the writers of the show also. It had moments that were very interesting and funny, yet five minutes later I’d be headed to the kitchen for a jelly sandwich. I may try to catch the entire show on dvd.

Since many of these threads here are kinda two-parters, I just have to throw in that I “love” WH13. The Pete/Myka vibe is sssooooooo, Mal/Inara. Eddie McClintock is hilarious, and Joanna Kelly is gorgeous! Add Artie, Leena & Claudia to the mix and you’ve got the recipe for an entertaining show.

Then you’ve got Jane Epenson involved and sprinkle in a bit of Badger (sorry, but Mark Sheppard will always be the enjoyable Badger to me) and you have a great bit of storytelling and acting.

I also enjoy seeing frequent guest appearances by H.G.Wells (Jaime Murray) & the bionic doctor Calder (Lindsay Wagner). So for those who haven’t seen it, try it out on Monday nights.

One thing I’m hoping to see is more guest appearances by FF alum. Jewel and Simon were on together last season and they were great together.

BWT, caught my first episode of Alphas Monday night and notice Simon and River’s mom on the show. She was being the evil “biotch” as before but I really like the actress. Ironic that the word is that Summer will be making a guest appearance on the show also. Maybe she can drag Sean onto the show and they can get some revenge on mommy? Though what I’d really like to see is papa Tam getting his……

Sorry, the evil Doc Horrible is coming out in me!

Because people watch it. Funny how that works.

That's whozit's hang-up. He HATES Warehouse 13 for whatever reason.

Sean has already been a guest star, along with Jewel Staite (Same episode). You really should have seen it. It was great! Sean in spandex :P.

I love 'em both, darn it.

Wasn't going to start Alphas, b/c there's so much on my electronic plate, but add in Mrs. Tam (Isabella Hoffman, who was also so good in Homicide: Life in the Street or whatever the whole title was) and it's worth a try-out.

whozit has already been consigned to the Escher Vault, so pay no attention.

THESOMNAMBULIST

It's a pity that in a way because Eureka is one of those shows that just plays so wonderfully to it's strenghts. At times it's charming and incredibly touching while all the while remaining small scale. It's brilliance sort of creeps up on you.

I'll miss it.

As for Warehouse 13. Long may it run. It's a hoot.

America loves a winner!

Very sad. I caught that on Felicia Day's tweet.

But, to be honest, things did seem to be kinda moving in that direction. The show just didn't have that same eager feel that it once did. The whole time line issue was starting to unravel, and I'm not sure they had a suitable answer for where to take the story.

Of course, this won't make things any easier. I sense an open ended series finale, with hopes of 2 hour movie ? Maybe ?

It's happened before, with great sci-fi shows cancelled.

Yep, I was thinking the same way.

Well, on the bright side, we'll always have the DVDs, like with Firefly!

Caught the season final of Eureka this past Monday night. I enjoyed it very much. I don’t know what it was, but the formula to the show seemed to have been lacking over the past few seasons. Maybe there was too much humor written into every episode. It’s still sad that next season will be the final. It’s one thing not to take yourself too serious, yet another to attempt a joke every minute. I think this hurt. The humor should be sprinkled in along with the actual flow of the show, it’s like they were waiting for a drum roll after every punch line……..

The last episode of the season was quite good though. The final scene with Jo & Sheriff Carter really hit home, I almost came to tears on that one. Also, I really liked seeing Erica Cerra in blue-jeans and sweatshirt, (instead of the business suit) the girl is gorgeous.

Although I haven’t been a regular watcher of Eureka, next season looks mighty “Awesome” !!! After a hard days work I’m always looking for a little escape entertainment at the end of the day, next season may provide the ticket. I’m looking forward to Eureka.

Warehouse 13 was it’s usual enjoyable self. I think the fact that Jane Espenson’s contribution to the project is ongoing helps out tremendously…… and the talented cast & production values are also an A+.

Alphas - on Sy/Fy’s Monday night line-up was well worth the watching. The series is improving each episode. I’d like to see more guest appearances by other Firefly alum. I always enjoy seeing Nathan, Morena, Adam, Ron, Gina, Jewel, Sean and Alan on other things. Nathan’s involvement in ABC’s “Castle” has certainly shown that an actors influence is not without merit!

Mr. Fillion’s contribution has certainly sparked an increase in viewer-ship for ABC. The man knows what he’s doing!

Anyway, that’s just how I see it……WE HOLD!

What Would Mal do ?

yep.. I had pretty much already cancelled it at our house..we own all past season DVD sets, but this lastest season....Yawn!!...the wife kept wanting to watch another week so I'd yank it down from itunes, but clearly the writers got tired or something.

can't speak for Warehouse - saw the original pilot, it didn't draw me in and I've not given it any more of my time...it's likley developed into a decent series, I just haven't tracked it.

Fine, keep your cookies. Fatty!

Well, I'd not seen Dave Foley in ages, ( not since Sky High ?) so I was really taken a back at how hefty he'd become.

Nathan, well, he still looks ruggedly handsome ( in a strait, guy meaning way, that is ), though I think YoSaffBridge would have left him on Bellerophon with at least a shirt on these days.
