Question: What was your favourite season? I think I liked the 40's era first season the best- coolest and not as dated as the next two. Although I liked her costume from 2 & 3 better.

What about y'all?

Without question one of the most beautiful women EVER. I liked the 2nd and 3rd seasons best; The 1st season, while good, is a little TOO campy for me. Plus I liked the whole spy/government agent aspect of the show.

I like the first season. When they made the changes in the following season I could not get into it.
I know Carter is to old, now, to play the role, but she is the perfect Wonder Woman. What a waist.

I liked Carter's character best in season one; in subsequent seasons I felt she tried to play it less 'soft' opting for tough too much. But the costume rocked in 2 & 3!

My brain can't remember the costume change. I would have to see them side by side. But that picture of her says thousands of words.

I vote for the bottom picture. I assume that is the style for seasons two and three.
I had to laugh when I noticed they switched sides on her belt for holding the lasso.
After seeing these pictures it is hard to think of anyone else playing Wonder Woman. Did the guy who hired Carter for this role get an Emmy for casting?

Yea. I guessed as much. They had time to rethink it and correct their mistakes.

While I prefer Seasons 2-3, the first season did give us Debra Winger as Wonder Girl:

Season 1 was pretty good. Seasons 2, and 3...not good. I can do campy shows just fine. Like the 60's Batman, campy and fun. The last two seasons of Wonder Woman were so poorly written they weren't even fun, just boring.

I'd rather watch:

A few years ago BCI released basically the entire live action Filmation library on dvd.

-Secret of Isis
-Ark II
-Space Academy
-Jason of Star Command
I enjoyed them very much. Especially Ark II.

They were fantastic. Loaded with special features, however the company lost a lot of money on them, and is no longer in business. I talked to David Levine of the company in 2010. He said in retrospect they probably shouldn't have released all the shows on dvd just Isis(which sold great numbers). I praised their decision to release them all, and told him fans of those shows appreciated it. I also told him that without a doubt BCI was one of the best dvd companies ever, and made big studios like WB look bad in comparison.

When I discovered Jonathan Harris was in Space Academy I made sure to see every episode. I was not sure he could go an entire series without Dr. Smith leaking out. it was great seeing him in a different role.

You also had James "Scotty" Doohan on the first season of it's sister show Jason of Star Command.

Is that Billy Batson from Shazam and Louis Gossett Jr?

Yep, whenever a conversation turns to "perfect casting choices", I always cite Lynda Carter!
