Been waiting for the price on that DVD set to come down from $69.99... and I just found it at Costco for $14.99!!!
Like Firefly, I never watched it during its initial run on Fox (just the end credits while waiting for The X-Files to come on), but I checked Disc 1 out from the lending library at my Sci-Fi club, and decided I was just gonna have to buy the set when I could afford it.

Man, I am SOOOO lookin' forward to seeing all the episodes and Bonus Features!

I know there's gotta be some Brisco fans here, so let me hear from y'all!

That show was great! I watched it when it was originally on the air, and I vaguely remember it being shown on Saturday or Sunday mornings for a while a long time ago.

It was my favorite program while it ran. Funny and clever and tongue firmly planted in cheek the whole time. They parodied sci fi and westerns and heroes and governments and everyone else they could find. It was overpriced before but I will definitely check it out again.

Yep, a really good show. Being over the pond count yourself lucky, it's never been released over here. I bought the boxset on import a couple of years ago.

It's a steal for $14.99.

BIG fan of Brisco here! I bought it for $50 when it came out- sold a LOT of my favourite DVD's to make it happen, and it was SO worth it. I had 'em all on videotape, seen 'em all a bazillion times. Even the few eps that aren't great are good.
One of my favourite DVD sets.
Very fancy.

If you can get Brisco for $14.99, that is great. Another show that left the airwaves too soon.

But it pretty much told a complete story in its run, with our heroes literally riding off into the sunset in the end.
And at 27 episodes, it's a good one-season run!
