Star wars much??

Love the Cylons and helmets.

Perhaps they should have budgeted more than $1.95 for special effects & costumes.

OPPYH

I remember seeing this when the latest Battlestar Galactica launched on Sci-Fi. There was a lot of hoopla over this "original reboot". Just a demonstration of what could have been. If anything it probably fanned the flame of what we inevitably ended up with.

Despite what Pengy said, I thought it looked great! I can't believe I never saw it before!!
Sonisall saw it with me & asked when they're releasing the movie.
I had to tell him the truth...

I don't recall any Romulan starships in BSG

Huh.

SAFEAT2ND

This is where I always had envisioned BSG to go. Maybe not with these Special Effects and bad scripts, but the overall story direction.

And as bad as BSG 1980 was, there are story and ship aspects of it I would salvage from that wreck.

That said, I liked the new BSG even though I originally wanted to hate it.

I remember thinking as a kid, if Larson lent his hand to Flash Gordon with the same flair he did to Buck and BSG that Lee Majors would play Flash. Yeah there is always a cheese effect to Larson's take, but I for one would have loved to see the ships, at least, that he would have developed for that show.

Although I may incure the wrath of Traveler by saying that...;)
