James Franco just signed on to star in it. A prequel(UGH!)

Oh well, it can't be nearly as bad as Tim Burton's version.......can it?

I've been reading about this in the entertainment press, it'll be a prequel to which film? The first one with Charlton Heston or the last one that sucked?

A prequel to all the films. It will take place in the present, and focus on a young scientist(Franco) that tampers with the genes of humans and apes and creates the human hating apes.
Sounds pretty awful on paper, I doubt I will even watch it in the theater.

They could call it, "Conquest for the Planet of the Apes". Opps wait, already been made. But I thought it was pretty good.
