Hi, everybody! I have a little question for you all. One time, a long while back, I watched a very crummy sci-fi show that was about a hospital set on a space station, in the future. There was a crusty old alien doctor who looked like a cross between a fish and a slug, and there was a pretty human doctor who had a dark secret. I can't remember what the name of the show was, but I do think that it lasted a bit longer than one episode. I'm curious to know if anyone remembers the show?

That's it! Thanks, Succatash! That brings back at least a few memories--was it really as bad as I remember, or am I being too harsh on it?

According to the IMDB, it got cancelled after 3 episodes and aired on UPN in 1998.

I got one for ya... yet another sci-fi show. This one was like Firefly in that space was dirty. There was a ship that had a crew including a Sorbo type captain, a crusty fix it guy (who played the fire truck driver in Backdraft), a few others. The pilot had to lay down head first into a window ala WWII bomber. I remember the show being about a police force or some such that had a base.

Little to go on, but its one of those long lost things that bug ya cuz you cant remember the show.

I call her "Vera"

I loved Space Rangers. I got all the episodes on tape. You just got to love Docs choice in music.

I got one it was a SciFi movie or maybe a pilot it aired late night on fox many years back. It was set on a small space warship call the Surprise and their fighting human colonists from Centauri. It had some kind of robot and snake lights on the space suits.

Your thread references your call in to Ernie Hudsons show on KFNX. There was also the NPR show, Talk of the Nation, hosted by Neal Cohen on cult tv that Joss was interviewed for about 10 to 15 minutes. You were a caller to that show as well?

Someone has to love it... I think I saw most of the episodes, and have to admit that if you shut your brain off (and drank, and heckled), it passed the time. Still, the lead actor was Jeff Caake as I recall (I think that's the right spelling), almost as good as the guy that starred in the TV movie "pilot" of Heat - in place of Al Pacino they had Scott Plank.
