You do realize that it's being directed by M. Night Shyamalan, one of the most overrated director around these days. He is like the Michael Bay of twisty plots.

He'll likely ruin Airbender.

*Sighs* I know, and I have hated this movie since hearing he was at the helm (along with the casting). He is completely overrated and full of himself. However the trailer gave me hope, as did this io9 article.

I just saw this trailer yesterday. I hadn't heard anything about the movie other than they weren't allowed to use the title Avatar for some stupid reason.

I was a little frightened when I saw who the director was, I'm hoping that since he'll stay true to the show and not make it all...twisty.

The trailer itself was pretty cool. This was a cool show and I hope it'll be a cool movie. (I used the word cool too many times in that statement lol)

"Haha, mine is an evil laugh."

I know nothing about the show or the movie, but the trailer got me into it...until I saw the credits. Fuuuuuuuuu****

I'm actually a fan of The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, but the rest range from ehh to "craptacular".

I am kinda curious how he'll handle someone else's material, though. Hopefully he won't inject too much of himself into it.

I saw Lady in the Water, and The Happening. Torture. I hate to say he's a one hit wonder, but then again I didn't even care for the Sixth sense all that much.
I won't see any more of his films.
