Keeping order in every verse

Ive just watched the pilot episode of Dollhouse on sci fi uk,and it is quite interesting. It took about 10 minutes to grasp what was going on,which tells me that yet again that fox have not shown the original pilot.do they never learn?

Actually, setting the original pilot aside was Joss' idea -- It didn't quite gell the way he wanted, and it tested badly with audiences, so he voluntarily pulled it in favor of the first aired episode. Apparently a good portion of it was recycled into flashbacks in later episodes. That's why there were only 12 episodes broadcast in the U.S.

It may or may not show up on the box set, since a second unaired episode is being shot specifically to fulfill the box set's 13-episode contract. (Check Wikipedia's Dollhouse article if you want more details.)

My advice to UK'ers: once it gets really, really bad, hang on. It gets sooooooo much better!

You may be snoozing a little up to that point but afterwards you'll be saying "oh god, oh god we're all gonna die."

Any word on the ratings for it over there?
