Hello Firefly Fans. I'm sure that all of you know about the Top 40 Best TV shows of all time site at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/

where Firefly is now #1 with over 730,000 votes.
I vote there every day, for Firefly.

I also happen to love Star Trek: Enterprise - another great show that was the victim of pea-brained executive whimsy.

I am posting today to see if other Enterprise fans, and Firefly fans will help to get Star Trek: Enterprise out of the nomination section, and into the Top 40 with the rest of the Star Trek series, where it belongs.

It was only last year when Firefly was in the nomination section with only a few thousand votes, and now they are #1 and in the Hall of Fame, thanks to the fan power of devoted and dedicated Firefly fans.

We Enterprise fans would really appreciate a boost, and I have posted on their sites to vote for Firefly as well.

Thanks for listening!

And please help vote us into the Top 40!

I am down with your sentimentation, Your Triple-7-ness. I didn't watch near the amount of Enterprise that I should have - in fact, most of my viewing has been in its syndication - but some of the eps I've seen are damn good (I mean like rivaling-TNG-and-DS9 good). And then there are a few where the special effects budget apparently only covered 3 colors of spray paint, a hi-tec flashlight, and some dirt, with the script being generated by the studio custodial staff. IOW, about like many other shows. It should have got a better chance.

As soon as I get to a computer that was manufactured this century, I will do my civic couch potato duty!

It was like an adorable, space-faring beagle when we got here!

Much Appreciated WASHNWEAR!

It certainly wasn't much on special effects, although they were much better than Voyagers large flying bug viruses with piercing tentacles!

But what it lacked in special effects, it made up for in sex appeal (ie. T'Pol and the Orion women). Not to mention, best Doctor ever with Phlox.

I also thought the story lines were pretty good, although somewhat unbelievable - (sending a probe to destroy Earth instead of testing on some other planet and then sending the real thing to Earth).

I think it was just getting started when they cancelled it. I was truly looking forward to something NEW in a Star Trek series, like learning more about the Romulans, which is where the series was headed.

What a shame.

Thanks for the vote(s)!

I thought the 3rd Season story arc with the Xindi was outstanding.

can't remember if i thanked you directly for tipping to the western elements (and episodes) in a series which i missed first time around. i gave you a credit on a firefly fic that those episodes helped me draw some inspiration for.

so - thanks!:)

No.

Enterprise makes me mad.

I'm sorry the people behind the scenes crapped all over the show, but I can't excuse what they did and give it a pass. It is my least liked ST franchise. I watched every episode out of loyalty but I won't vote for it over something that had the support of the cast, crew, and production staff.

I'm in one of those contrary moods. Feel free to be mad at me for speaking when it wasn't necessary.

I understand that you're mad at the franchise and at the executives, but Enterprise was a great show - far better than Voyager - and Voyager is on the Top 40 List.

I was angry too, very, very, very, very, very angry that those pencil necked, no sense executives cancelled the series and that the writers then slapped everyone in the face by making the last episode a 'tribute' if you will to the TNG, instead of giving Enterprise a proper send off.

But it was a great show, and deserves to be in the Top 40 (much more than Voyager does), so please, won't you reconsider?

Thanks
