Yes, I do.

Btw, I'm still entralled that the supporting cast includes Billy Connolly, Amanda Peet, and Xzibit!!

Darksiders can keep their cookies. We have better writers.

Who we are depends on the outcome of the struggle between who we were and who we want to be

I want to believe.

Honestly, I'm slightly underwhelmed by the trailers - the first one definitely peeked my interest, but the second seemed to be more of the same - obviously they're trying to keep the plot under wraps, but the latest trailer merely makes it seem like an average supernatural thriller, a film I probably wouldnt be bothered about if it wasn't an x files picture.

And this is coming from a huge fan that watched right up to the end of season 9, and still enjoyed it.
It could just be that I dont want to get my hopes up though, many films this year have been a let down

I believe.
I believe I'll be there on opening night.

I've avoided the trailers etc so far. Don't want to give myself any expectations. Especially after a recent film disappointed me that I was really looking forward to. So I am avoiding as much as I can so I can go in and just watch the film.
I am really glad they are keeping a tight lid on the plot as well.
Should be interesting to see them back together again after all this time. Hopefully Skinner will at least make an appearance.

Kate: "Mulder is the believer. Scully is the skeptic."
Kendrick scratches his head: "Scully is the chick, right?"
Kate: "Yes. - But she's not the one that wants to believe."
Kendrick: "And you wanna believe."
Kate: "Oh, I already believe. - That's the problem."
--------------------------------------------------

Going by the pics and the cast list on IMDB (my dial-up is too slow for the trailers), it looks like Mulder and Scully (and Skinner) are back working for the FBI. (I’m either wrong or this is way obvious). That alone might make it worth watching. Back to normal, and all that.

As long as this X-Files movie is more paranormal than Indy 4.

Are there any major villians left from the show? I know Cigarette Smoking Man is dead. Alex Krycek is dead. What about the guy who killed X(masking-tape-on-window guy)?

Now, if only they didn’t kill off the Lone Gunmen.... (Damn 9th season!!!)

I hope one of the twists of the movie is the revelation that The LG were only-a-little dead, and not all-the-way dead.

My theory would be that the bio-agent that everyone thought killed The LG, wasn’t as deadly in the air as they thought.

Hypothetical question:
What conspiracy would be so big that The Lone Gunmen would have to fake their deaths in order to investigate it?

DR. HEITZ WERBER: Are you scared?
MULDER: I know I should be but I'm not.
DR. HEITZ WERBER: Do you know why?
MULDER: Because of the voice.
DR. HEITZ WERBER: The voice?
MULDER: The voice in my head.
DR. HEITZ WERBER: What's it telling you?
MULDER: Not to be afraid. It's telling me no harm will come to her, and that one day she'll return.
DR. HEITZ WERBER: Do you believe the voice?

MULDER: I want to believe.

The Lone Gunmen were a fantastic creation and one of the highlights of the show, but they are dead.
I would put more money on CSM and Krycek returning than the trio returning. It's a pity their spin off didn't pan out, I quite liked it.

From what I've gathered Mulder is still on the run and Scully is still with the FBI but in a different department (teaching maybe, like before) but as I said I've avaoided a lot of the stuff so I could be way off.

I see your Angel and raise you Supernatural.

DEAN:
I'm Mulder, you're Scully.

SAM:
Are you saying I'm a skeptic?

DEAN:
No, I'm saying you're a small, red-headed woman.

I had a dream last week where Mulder was the small, red-headed woman...and (s)he tried to sell me dogfood...

It was all Freudian and shit when we got here!

PENDRELL: Shouldn’t we wait for Agent Scully? Just so I won’t have to repeat myself.
MULDER: She’s not coming.
PENDRELL: Why not?
MULDER: She had a date.
(PENDRELL’S face falls, shoulders slump.)
MULDER: Breathe, Agent Pendrell. It’s with a dead man.

Out of those deaths, the Lone Gunmen deaths were on the top of the most heroic of the show, and I’m glad they got the attention they deserved (unlike Agent Pendrell, where he took a bullet for a man in protective custody, yet they couldn’t even give him a first name).

**SPOILER ALERT** However, the LG deaths are the least plausible. Alex Krycek got a clear bullet to the head from Skinner; CSM got blowed up by rockets from a helicopter; and the LG got deadified by a bio-luminescent toxin.

Oh, well. Maybe Jimmy Bond and/or Yves Adele Harlow (aka Lois Runce) could make a cameo in the movie.

SCULLY: Well done, Agent Pendrell. Keep up the good work.
PENDRELL: Hey, thanks. Keep it up yourself.
(She looks at him strangely, then takes her coat and leaves. He sighs.)
"Keep it up yourself." What a doof.

Agent Pendrell was one of my favourite recurring characters and I really didn't want him to die, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
I would have liked to have seen him have at least a little something with Scully, even if it was only a date or two. Then his death would have had far more meaning. Oh well.

Yeah they never did give him a first name although I believe some people (incorrectly) think it's Danny. But he was Mulder's cop mate who they used to track down number plates etc. There's another character that played his part but was never actually seen.
