Sorry, I couldn't find any of the Dollhouse threads to post this in, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Did anyone ever watch VR.5? It was another short-lived Fox series that aired on Friday nights with the X-Files. Around episode 4 it introduced a flowing-locked Anthony Head in a Watcher-type role. The premise was that in Virtual Reality (VR) 5, subconscious thoughts could be brought out and acted out in virtual reality, what they called Virtual Sensory Reality. The first four levels of VR were, according to the opening credits, 1) Computer Screen, 2) Interactive Video Game, 3) Flight Simulator, and 4) Cyber Space.

The main reason I bring it up, however, is that in episode 11 a reference is made to VR.8 in which personalities can be downloaded into another person. Does this sound a bit like a precursor for Joss's new show Dollhouse?

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I enjoyed VR.5, although I am not sure I ever saw all of the episodes, and my memories of it are not that vivid. I don't recall ASH being in the show, but that's because I had not watched Buffy until after becoming a Firefly fan.

I know I had a tape or two of the show at one time, but if they still exist they'd be in my ex's storage place somewhere in Colorado. I know my son does not have them.
