After two long years of trying to get NBC to come to it's senses, we at SaveSurface.com have finally given up in our efforts. I jst wanted to thank those of you who came by and gave us some support, even moral support for our efforts.

The Surface/Firefly lounge will remain open for any of you who wish to drop by and discuss either show, or anything else for that matter.

This site remains one of the classiest places I ever visited during the course of the campaign. I will remember it fondly.

Btw, just finished watching the F.F. series again (2nd time) It is so disappointing that TV execs have zero idea what they are doing, and little taste to guide them. At least we have the DVD"s of both shows to remind us of what has been.

Take care. Stay Shiny.

Drop by and visit sometimes. - Jstn, adNimistrator of SaveSurface.com

STOWEAWAY

My husband and I were big Surface fans. It's a shame they were given much the same treatment as Firefly.
You should be proud of the great community borne from your efforts. You guys put up a good fight.
Hope we see you around.

Thank you, Tanya. We did what we could. Unfortunately, you just can't get TV execs to "grow some sense" NBC ignored 10 million people who watched the finale, and are now cryin' about how no one watches their network.

Geeze, I wonder why.

I am extremely proud of our hardcore fans many of whom were still fighting with me two years into this thing.

I am also very pleased that along the way, I became a bigtime Firefly fan. I LOVE this show too. I'm serious about that.

Be sure and drop by to visit us. The few of us that are left will always aassist you guys in any efforts you guys have going on.

Be shiny - Jstn

MILT

Good tv shows don't stand much of a chance these days. At least there's room for a new CSI each day of the week.

Maybe if they had a CSI: Marianas Trench and a CSI: Border Planets we'd have Surface and Firefly back (sorta) LOLOLOLOL

Any of you guys been by to visit lately (besides Milt, of course)????

Firefly fans are made to feel very welcome, as you guys always made me feel here. - Jstn

Someday there will only be CSI shows. So it's not too far off probably.

You know , Jstn , since this is 'ILM' , there'll probably be a way found to remember 'Surface' somehow ; maybe at the
Brown Coat Pub being created here in Wilmington...The owner is sci-fi-oriented and wants to acknowledge the many fandoms , and the film and TV connections in our city...I know at the studio , the promo signs(for SURFACE )are still up !

Folk admire your efforts and your tenacity...I wish there'd been as hard a fight for Earth2 , as an example...You've been relentless...No wonder you have Browncoat tendencies...I mean that in the best sense !

O2TB - Good to see you old friend. Listen, I wear my virtual browncoat proudly out here in the TV 'verse. Thanks for the compliment.

The subject of Earth 2 comes up fairly often on my site. Usually, in conversations regarding quality shows that have been cancelled.

Seaquest is mentioned a lot as well.

That's interesting as far as that pub goes. Perhaps you can mention us, while knockin' back a few brewskies. LOLOLOL

Please drop by SaveSurface sometimes, you are missed there.

Just because the official campaign is over, that does not mean our (dare I say it?) alliance with you great folks is over. It is as strong as ever.
