Because I know *I* sure am... I bought the soundtrack on Friday, wonderful stuff. Despite the fact that I know I won't get to see one of my favorite parts of the story till the extended DVD, I'm still spazzing in anticipation. With any luck I'll be seeing it at the midnight premier at my local theatre... unfortunatly I live out in the boonie state, so no theatre anywhere close to me (unless I drive to New York) is being allowed the Trilogy Tuesday *sigh* but what can you do... at least I know that the people in charge of the Essex stadium theatre were really unhappy about not being able to do it either. Stupid people... only letting theatres in big populated states do it

Two weeks... two weeks... two weeks...

Peter Jackson is a crazy oversized hobbit, and that's all there is to it

Viggo Mortensen needs to grow 25 years younger and marry me... but only if her stays scruffy and scraggly... I will not allow him to shave on a daily basis or cut his hair shorter than his shoulders... damn that man looks good scruffy.

And Billy Boyd needs to just... talk to me for hours...

I'm pretty sure my friends (Well, people in my orchestra) are crazy for it. Or Lord of the Rings in general. Or Orlando Bloom. I don't get what's so attractive about him, but oh well...

I am currently crazy insane for a few things and this is one of 'em.
It's my roommates birthday near that day and we are going for sure!
I can't tell you all what a huge fan I am of Tolkien. I have read that series so many times, the paragraphs flow like water.
And the movies are such and great thing. So long overdue.

Yeah, my best friend is a LOTR nut. I've tried to get through it several times. Tolkien's story telling style just didn't grab me. I know that you probably think I'm crazy. Obviously I'm in very small minority on that sentiment. I've heard the third movie is better, and given that I'll basically be coerced into going, that's good news! Honestly, I'd probably enjoy it if I'd just take the time to relax and read it with a little more patience than I've had in the past.

Sanity is a bit overrated anyway. Just got the Two Towers extended, to match the previous Fellowship extended DVDs, and watched them back to back. Sane people would not do dat. But then, sane people are pretty dull anyway.

wow just had a t-shirt moment

"Sanity Sucks"

anyway that's over now. Waiting in anticipation for the LOTR movie, my wife & I are gonna try to catch the special showing of both extended versions in the theatre with an hour break in between each and then the Return of the King. All in one very long awesome day.

Of course I'm also waiting for my rather "Shiny"
DVD's.

I gotta say this has got me feelin all manner of anxiousness.

You think I look good now, wait till you see me in my new "Browncoat T-shirt"

That sounds like what I'm going to with a friend of mine. Should be cool to see them all at once like that. I've heard there's quite a bit of extended footage actually.

They're not doing it near me, either, so a group of my fellow Tolkien fans and I are having a Trilogy Saturday right after RotK is released... we have the extended versions of FotR and TT on DVD, then we're heading to the theater...

I dunno... I've seen Viggo all cleaned up and he's still a mighty fine-lookin' man... He cleans up real nice

Funny...

Most of the girls I know don't like viggo OR orlando, nope.... they're drooling over craig parker!(aka Haldir)
For some reason, amongst my female friends he's "all that and a bag o chips"
::shrug::

But then, although Liv and Cate are quite adorable, twas Miranda Otto that had me drooling like pavlovs infamous mutt.

All a matter of taste.

Between PS2 and DVD releases, imma be broke for months... FFX2 rocks.

I was sloshing through some heavy puddles of drool whenever Miranda Otto appeared as well. She makes me think delightfully evil thoughts.
As to reading Tolkien, you need a heavy appreciation of nature to be able to read Tolkien's long-winded descriptions of every tree and bush and piece of dirt... fortunately I happen to like that.
