So I thought it was great.

While it was kinda weird, it's interesting to get a better understanding of how things function on a base star. Naked Sharon? Yessss! And finally Apollo has lost the weight. And Kara cut her hair...I thought she looked better with the longer hair, but I guess it's symbolic of her place in the fleet society. It's good to see her on the path back to the old Kara (well, the pilot part...not necessarily the demons). And Adama throwing down with Kara and Tigh...that was awesome. Admiral Adama is frakking awesome...he could tell me to do anything and I'd do it. And the other 5 cylon models? I'm so curious now. And is Athena (Sharon) sick now? I can't take the suspense!

I love Sharon's new callsign, and not just because my favourite character is now named after one of my patron spirits.

Anybody remember Athena from the old series?

It was also awesome to see Tyrol and Cally back on the flight deck. Best husband-and-wife ground crew in the fleet.

I really feel sorry for Tigh, even if he has been a royal asshole the past couple of eps.

And yes, Adama is frakking awesome.

I thought it was great! I loved that Adama called Tigh and Kara on the carpet. Since the beginning of the season Kara has been on the crazy train and last week she was getting down right bitchy. She needed someone stronger than her to kick her off her chair. I think she'll come around. Tigh, on the other hand, is really in bad shape. Of course, he has got to be feeling guillty, big time. He killed his wife who did what she could took keep her husband alive. How ironic is that?

Of course that is a whole thread in itself, was Tigh justified in killing his wife?

this was an excellent episode.. imo... Olmos is such a good actor! The way he

and whatever happened to make him so angry at Kara? She has screwed up before.. is it that thing between her and Lee that happened in the year between??

what a great performance! The quiet fury...

the other 5 cylon models.. what an intriguing hint!! what does it all mean!!! I want to know NOW!

Haden (Tigh) is just so impressive with his performances... will he

The creators have said that this is the darkest season yet, and they did not lie.. in someways, it is ALMOST (I said almost) too dark.. too relentless.. even Baltar offers little comic relief...

and IS Baltar a cylon?? I know that won't be answered til the end of the show.. but he can project.. what does that mean??? too interesting

All in all, the show surprises me every week.. and it is good to have a thought provoking and grown up show on TV. BSG does not talk "down" to the audience.. they expect you to get some of it on your own, and they do not spoon feed everything. That is soo appreciated.

You mentioned that it was almost getting too dark. That's the way I felt last week. I was upset at how Kara so quickly dumped her husband. I was really not liking her or even feeling pity for her. Thank goodness she is coming around.

And I do love Olmos! What great performance. All the actors are so good on this show. How lucky for the writers to have actors who can deliver thier lines so convincingly.

My question is...did he(tigh) kill himself? My girlfriend said no, but I think yes. He went out Leaving Las Vages style; couldn't cope with the fact that he killed his wife so he drank himself to death. Plus he told Adama that he wouldn't be seeing him again.

I love how the confrontation and its results juxtaposed Tigh and Starbuck as characters though. Adama told them both to stand up and be good people and act like officers. Kara did, as seen in her cutting her hair and going to see Casey (I think Adama saying she isn't his surrogate daughter anymore really hit home). Tigh on the other hand said the hell with it and (IMO) drank himself to death.

I'm not so sure I like getting to see the Cylons behind the scenes as much. I think it demystifies them to much. They just don't seem as threatening anymore.

Nope, Tigh is alive. He didn't drink himself to death, he was just drinking. If they were ever going to take Tigh out, they would be much more hardcore about it. Plus, Ron would have talked about it in the podcast, and he didn't. Instead, he just rambled about how Katee didn't want to cut her hair.

I really loved last night's episode. I was surprised to listen to the podcast and learn that all the producers thought they were in big trouble during this ep, and that there was a lot of re-shoots and post-production changes to fix it. Well, good job guys, because you totally pulled it out of the fire and made it awesome!

I kept watching the montage of Kara and Saul after their confrontation with Adama. Wow. Powerful stuff, and amazing music. Really, all the music was amazing. Bear McCeary is awesome. But I especially loved that montage. So much, that I downloaded the season 2 soundtrack (legally) and, yay, it turns out that the music during that montage is a varient on the "Scar" / "A promise to Return" theme, which I am now listening to obsessively.

I think this ties it Exodus 2 as my favorite episode so far. It was a real character episode, which I always love, primary focus Baltar, and secondary Starbuck and Tigh. And all three actors delivered grade A preformances. Baltar's choke-a-bitch, Kara's eyes when she holds Casey, Tigh drinking. Plus, Adama was badass. I mean, pretty much everything he does now is badass, but, still. He was badass. And Roslin was cute. "Let's go lion hunting!" (not exact quote).

And then, all the little things. Tyrol and Cally back on the hanger deck. Geata back in his position. Sharon actually being in the episode, and getting a new callsign. And quoting scripture. And the hybrid. It was weird, but really intriguing. The Oracle and the Hybrid should take some camala together somtime. Things would get interesting.

I frakking love this show.

I hadn't thought of that. Tigh goes off to kill himself with an overdose of alchol. Good catch.

I agree. I want the Cylons to be a mystery just as they are to the humans. Besides, with the exception of the ones on Galactica, they Cylons don't interest me.

I don't think Geata is back in his place. I think hes going to be taking over Baltar's lab and be more of a science officer or something, it look's like Helo has pretty much taken his job.

I need to listen to that podcast, thanks for the reminder.

Another awesone episode!

It was great to see Adama kick some ass. Starbuck has been too damn whiny for to long and needed it.

Just an off the wall idea, but it doesn't seem to me that Tigh is going to reform. It also looks like he is heading down the path to suicide. Would it not be the ultimate mind frack if he killed himself and woke up in a cylon regeneration tank? Hey, I said it was off the wall.

I love how this show keeps pushing the limits and going places you'd never expect. BTW, I thought Apollo lost the weight a litlle too quickly.

Actually Helo's taken Tigh's job (XO). Gaeta's job (Officer of the Deck) seems to be available.

I liked Gaeta's crack about Baltar's "limitless capacity for self-preservation."
