I'm curently watching the second series of Hex on Sky One in the U.K, and really enjoying it.

It's a nice blend of dark humour, suspense and supernatural drama. The characterisation is really strong too. (Especially from Laura Pyper (Ella), Jemima Rooper (Thelma), and Michael Fassbender (Azazeal).)

There aren't many UK sc-fi/genre tv shows out there, (the new Doctor Who aside), but it's entertaining stuff.

(Coincidently, the show is sometimes directed by Brian Grant, who works on the new Doctor Who series.) :)

Are there any Browncoats out there who follow this supernatural drama?

Yes, Cos, I download it and watch it in the US. It's a good show, a bit more soap opera than action/adventure, but with good writing most of the time and strong, interesting storylines. And yes, the main characters are quite compelling. I think most Americans would find it paced a bit slow, but if they like British television at all (besides Monty Python!) I think they'd like Hex.

Yup. The second season is gripping. There are lots of nice twists and turns. It's definitely stronger than S1.

Laura Pyper is my favourite actress on the show. Ella is just a kick ass character. I loved her from the minute I saw her. :) Although, I was a bit concerned when:

Select to view spoiler:

Ella fell under Malachi's spell for a while. It was a little strange. It didn't feel right. Do any of you guys agree/disagree?

Although, I appreciate the need for character development, and giving Laura Pyper a good range of emotions to play with. She's definitely been put through the ringer this season. I was glad when she returned to normal though. :)

I'm starting to like the character of Malachi too. It took a while for me to warm up to the character. Last week's episode was a nice show case for the actor who plays him. Azazeal is still the ultimate bad guy on the show. Bring him back!

The introduction of Mephistopheles and Rafiel is excellent. They're great additions to the show, although I'm kinda missing Azazeal and Nurse Perie.

Maya is a great character too. Glad to see Roxanne have more screen time as well.

I've no idea how this year's gonna end. It's all over the place.

Do you guys have any favourite characters on the show? Do you have any theories on what might happen next, or what you'd like to see?

there is just 2 eps left of this season isnt there

i dont know how to do the secret spoilery thing, so yes i agree with you but it was good to see what malachi could do if he put his mind to it

i dont like maya at all, glad shes gone, roxanne i recon will turn on malachi.

Id like to see Ella do what she is meant too, but i dont think she will. i think more people will die first. including leon.

azazeal is just hot beyond hotness, bring him back for the drool factor. mind you i liked jez too, but meh and ella is stunning too, so plenty of nice things to look at.

i think the season will end on a has she or has he scenario

we wont know

Does anyone know where I can download Hex episodes? I am currently in Europe but am going home to the States the day before the final episode of this series ends, and I really want to see it! I can never get torrents to work, and Kazaa just doesn't seem to ever download them. Any advice? Thanks :)

Is this series going to be released on DVD in the US. I've only read about it on the net but would love to beable to watch it. TV seriously sucks over here. I have dial up, so I can't really download anything. Has it been released in the UK on dvd? I can always have it shipped! If you know, please let me know. Thanks.

Hex could only have been made in the UK. It's either gloriously awful or awfully glorious. More things happen in one episode of Hex than in an entire season of another show.

It's great fun if you don't take it seriously. Camp gothic drama with the occassional stunning scene.

Thelma is my fav, it must be said.

I have only been able to watch 1/2 of the 1t series of Hex (before my Sky TV got cancelled) and I loved it - and from what I've heard (I can't believe Cassie's dead though. as long as we've still got Thelma I'm good though). I really want the DVD's now - anyone know where I can get them?

...and we will call it...this land...

Hey, I was wondering if I could get the site that you download hex from. I've only seen the first five episodes and I'm hooked. Thanks.
