Battlestar is winning me back again now! I just watched the 3rd episode for season 2 and I reckon they are back on a winning thing again. I thought they may have been losing the plot after the first 2 eps of season 2.

Baltar shooting CrashDown!! Wow! I liked Crash...

I also think that SG Atlantis is starting to look alright again after the 3rd episode for season 2. I like the look of this new character (he reminds me of Teer from Andromeda for some reason).

Just my 20 cents worth

Well, I'm only on ep 4 of the first season of BG (love that dvd), but I guess I should check out SG Atlantis now...

Gotta admit, I was wondering about BG. It could have easily slid into corny mediocrity (and it looked like it was headed there!) but episode three was a big improvement in my book. Looks like they are back on course.

SG Atlantis, however, is the one show in the current Friday night lineup I don't watch. It just never clicked for me.

I can understand that fully. Its never really clicked with me either but I keep trying anyway, I just like sci fi, any sci fi will do.

I don't think it's the best show either, but it's nestled right in the middle of SG-1 and Battlestar, so it gets taped right along with them. (I'm never home on Friday nights)

I agree with you on all counts. (Including the Tier thing) I really hope it continues to improve, I see a lot of potential there. But it is sad that it took until season two to find out what Ford’s job was!

He was slowly turning in to another “Travis Mayweather”.

I have to say that I don't think Stargate Alantis is very good, however I have been enjoying Stargate SG1, which is something I never thought I would ever say. No doubt it's because they got rid of Richard Dean Anderson and brought in Ben Bowder, Claudia Black and Beau Bridges. Stargate SG1 gets my vote for most improved show.

Stargate Atlantis seems to be trying to hard to bring in the Star Trek and Andromeda crowd. They now got the Defiant (or what ever they call it) warp drive and beaming technology and the new character looks like he just stepped of the set of Andromeda (or is that Hercules). On top of that the writing on the show is some of the worst writing on TV and personally I find the two main characters (if you can call them that) rather unappealing.

As for Battlestar Galactica, I think it's the best show on TV and I think this season is shaping up as being even better than the previous season and it might even get that mainstream recognition that it has so far missed out on. A very powerful show.
