Not wanting to start a political thread here. More just curious. You hear all these horror stories about long lines & such. So I'm curious. How long did you have to wait inline to vote? For me 1 hour in & out. Broken Arrow, OK

Surprisingly, not long at all here either (I'm in Jersey too...Cherry Hill). I voted on my way home from work and there was no line. I was in and out of there in a couple minutes.

I live in NJ and have an hour and a half commute into New York City for work, and I was afraid that if we hit traffic I wouldn't get home in time before the polls closed at 8. So I woke up at 5 a.m. and was in line to vote at 6 a.m. when the polls opened. Exercising my civic duty has never been so exhausting!

i was lucky. the voting location was right across the street at the elementary school (i am in NC). took me about an hour and a half altogether. 1:25 in line. 5 minutes to fill out the ballot. this was at 7am. i must have hit the "before work" crowd. when i got home later that evening at about 6:15, i did not notice any line. darn it! should have voted after work! :(

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

My wait was only about 25-30 minutes. Not nearly as bad as I had suspected it would be when I went to the poll.

Heh, duh, I guess I forgot that point. Actually I only had to wait about 15 minutes, as some woman 3 people ahead of me ran into the problem a lot of people were having with her address being wrong in the register.
