Everything over here is just about finished, both Angel and Enterprise finale next week. I'm sure I saw an advert on TV for Joan of Arcadia but I dont know which channel its going out on in the UK. I'm still watching Alias but thats about it till Stargate SG1 and Atlantis go out- and I'm not sure who's picking up Atlantis yet either. Oh and apparently Mutant X is going out here soon too damn shame its on at 4pm and Im working and I wont see it. Such a loss!! Boo Hoo LOL

It starts on Living on mon 7th june, 6:05-7:00. It's on 5 days a week, so I'm sure glad I've got my PVR (Sky+ if anyone cares)

since buying, watching and loving my firefly dvd boxset i discovered gilmore girls. i know its been around for years for all you american types, but its only had the first series shown on an obscure satellite channel over here in england so cut me some slack. it actually struck me as being very whedonesque in the way its written with strong characters, long involving story threads between the different characters and some great humour. although theres no demons or spaceships obviously ;) and jane espenson even went across onto their writing staff.

The usual shows. I admit, I still watch Fox, but I haven't really watcheed anything on WB since Maroon 5 on Pepsi Smash (which I missed). I don't watch that station. I'm more miffed about WB than Fox. Fox has put out Firefly, Angel, and Buffy for my viewing pleasure.

The only thing new I watch is Joan Of Arcadia. I'm a rabid viewer of that show. I also have to mention Dead Zone even though I've been watching it before my Joss shows were canceled/put to rest ^-^ (Woo Dead Zone!)

no new ones... the ones I do watch:

Southpark
(this season's getting better)

Simpsons
(it's the simpsons, I have to watch it)

Smallville
(superman is my kryptonite. Oh yeah, that and Lana is cute.)

I must say, I'm really surprised about the proliferance of all these UK shows in the States... Things like Monarch of the Glen and Jonathan Creek I always thought were isolated from the rest of the world, but here y'all are, destroying my preconceptions .

As for 'watch like mad' shows, I've been watching NYPD Blue when it's on in England - it's not new, and I think we're on like Season 8 or something, about three seasons late, but regardless, something about it's very... I dunno. Entertaining. For anyone who knows it, we're at the section where a possible romance is on the cards for McDowell and Sipowicz... They went to Disneyland together; just isn't that sweet? Ah who knows.

Well, must be off - Firefly RPG on Neverwinter Nights commencing soon.

I've been forced to go back to Fox, since they've brought back Oliver Beene. Dunno if Dark Angel counts, since I watched the first-runs (Space started showing reruns last year along with Firefly, we have one ep left before they start over/replace it).

I've also somehow managed to get hooked on Gilmore Girls (after Buffy ended, and I was looking for something new), and, more recently, Navy NCIS (I was waiting for Dark Angel one week and spotted "Logan" as Dinozzo). Both of them are pretty out of my usual tastes, but I like 'em.

Yeah, 24 was a great first season, but has slowly been going down hill since then.

Alias I enjoyed, but it seemed to me that if you missed one episode you've missed a major part of the story.

I don't care, I'm still free.

I personally thought that the Second Season of 24 was better than the first in its own way. The thing is, in the second season, as hot as Elisha Cuthbert is, she keeps doing really stupid things so they can keep her in the plot.

New watch like mad show though, Angel, I've watched Season 1-4 in the space of like 2 1/2 weeks.

Firefly affected me so profoundly that it has cast a long black shadow over any other show trying to rise up around it. Now Angel has just finished over here and England are out of Euro 2004 I don't think my TV will be seeing much action for a while.

Apart from the Simpsons, Scrubs and reruns of Futurama obviously.

Well, I have to say that apart from Joan of Arcadia which is showing on living TV over here in the UK ther's not much else on except the blooming footie and tennis, then theres cricket and oh yeah the olympics start soon. So, Ive got to wait a couple of months b4 Stargate and Atlantis go out over here. In the meantime the goggle box is off - not much of a sports fan me.

*Wonderfalls is definately my No2 show and after seeing episode 10, may almost be on par with Firefly.
"Lick the light switch"

*Two shows I used to watch were Scrubs and 24, both have jumped the shark.

*I just got season 1 of Arrested Development and I'd say it's the best comedy out of the USA in years.

*Black Books from the UK (not sure which channel)

*Crank Yankers (which in Australia shows on SBS but I have no idea in the US)

Does anyone know if that's it for Wonderfalls or is there any chance it might be picked up by another channel?

Thirteen episodes were produced, only four aired in the US. But a DVD set is supposed to come out on December 7, so it might depend on how that sells.

I consider myself lucky for I had never had any inclination to watch Buffy or Angel. After Firefly was cancelled I was craving something Joss so I swallowed my pride and borrowed all seasons of Buffy and first 2 seasons of Angel from a mate. Since then I have been watching approx 5 eps a day and am loving both shows (who knew..)

P.S. how many seasons of Angel are there?

There's about 5 seasons of Angel I believe and 7 for Buffy :)

I still watch The Simpsons, but the writing has really gone downhill. I've been repeat watching all three seasons of Family Guy which I think is hilarious, and I love Scrubs.

I'm also quite amused to see shows like Monarch of the Glen, Spooks and Jonathan Creek are popular outside of Britain. Quick Buffy link : ASH will be playing a millionnaire in the next series of Monarch of the Glenn.

I've been watching Six Feet Under and TRYING to watch Joan of Arcadia, but Living TV are showing one epsiode every weeknight and I've missed loads of them now. Damn schedulers!

Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

A few shows of latter day greatness: Dead Zone, Deadwood, and Dead Like Me... notice the "dead"-themed nomenclature...

Carnivale is good and I'm looking forward to Galactica... and South Park is always a hoot...

Guilty pleasures include Alias, Stargate, Charmed, and Enterprise... they're about as mindless as most reality shows, but a lot more fun... and I don't feel like taking a shower after watching...

Recently gone but not forgotten include Wonderfalls, Odyssey 5, Jerimiah (still some rumours about a possible resurrection, though), and Angel (of course)...

Other than that, the Iron Chef rules!

Much work remains to be done before we can announce our total failure to make any progress...

I am so NOT hooked on anything on right now, haven't been since the Angel finale.

Sometimes watch Rocked with Gina Gershon and Dinner for Five. Mostly I watch stations--sometimes 'surf to Sci-Fi, sometimes Comedy Central, sometimes IFC, HBO (2, Signature, etc). Sometimes watch a ball game.

Lately it's been women's tennis at Wimbledon. Two words: Maria Sharapova.

I'm not watching anything right now but Firefly. I was hooked on The Shield and Nip/Tuck.

The third season of TS soured me on that show. Every week they threatened to 'change everything forever' and they never delivered and, every week, they'd make the teaser look like someone was dying and no one ever died. So, yeah, I'm over it.

And I haven't watched a single entire episode of the second season of Nip/Tuck, which just started. It's almost like they're being cutting edge with the language, sex and blood just because it's cutting edge. None of it is ever really pertinent to the plot. It gets old really quick.

I refuse to watch any reality junk.

The last show I was hooked on and had to watch every week was OZ and, even then, I only paid half attention to it. Other than that, I think GvsE/good vs. evil and The Invisible Man were my last obsessions to the point where I was writing fanfic and taking part in SOS campaigns.

We need those shows on DVD like, yesterday.
