OKAY! for the first time ever, someone pretended to be me with some measure of success! Congratulations. Here's exactly what came of it: the brass at the WB saw the post, thought it was me, and got wicked pissed off. The fact is, they are still deciding the schedule, and Angel's future is still in doubt. Making them angry at this stage is, shall we say, unhelpful. Hopefully my colorfulness will make it clear I'm me, I don't have time for the usual funny.

I totally agree with that. DVD commentary cannot be Joss's great plans for the future. Besides, no one really cares about commentaries anyways. They're just semi-interesting clips to take up space, vot sometime you'd watch over and over.

As for my own self, I have a couple of movies where I watch the commentaries more than the movie.

Off the top of my head: Young Frankenstein, Fight Club, Goldeneye, anything by Pixar. The Buffy commentaries are pretty amusing as well.

Worst commentary: The Matrix. IMHO.

Ebert does a great commentary track on Dark City. I think he has one on Citizen Kane, also.

Ebert's commentaries are great for those who follow film as an artform. Not much behind the scenes stuff or anything like that.

The Matrix had several audio commentary tracks... I personally enjoy the one by the composer, 'cause he's my uncle :biggrin:

I was really amazed to find that on there... I don't know of any other DVDs that have commentary from the composer of the score.
