Hello ladies and gents, first time poster and 45 day lurker. First of all I am really liking Firefly yet I have a few nagging questions from tonight's ep. perhaps I missed something along the way so if you have any answers it would be helpful.

1. What was Saffron's relationship with the two guys who wanted to net Serenity? Is she partner's with them?

2. Was she a stowaway or was she a real gift/trap?

3. The townspeople they helped were they involved at all in this? What was Saffron's relationship with them?

Any elaboration would be greatly appreciated. Hope Firefly survives at least a season and damnit bring back the widescreen.

1. Yes, she was a part of their team. (They had some lines to that effect.)

2. Not a gift; just a trap who stowed away. She didn't even really claim to be a "gift"; her story was simply that what she and Mal had done at the party constituted a wedding.

3. She did it without their knowledge.
