What is your Favorite Scene from Firefly/Serenity

I was just wondering what part of what episode do you like the best or you think is really funny. It also could be from commentaries or deleted scenes or outtakes.

Mine is the part, I think it's in the pilot, were Wash is flying the ship without touching the wheel.

Wow that is a loaded question. You can't be asking questions like that .LOL.

Serenity is easy. My fave scene from that is at the begining with Wash and Mal in the cockpit 'What was that!?' :) (can anyome tell me from that scene for about 15 minutes where did a cut take place??? I know there was a cut but I cannot spot it right up to the end of 'going for a ride'. awesome) or as I was kindly told earlier 'Going for a Ride' when they are loading up the mule. I love the soundtrack and Mal reflecting 'This is what I do' chokes me every time because it just brings back Firefly. Also River and Mal in the cockpit at the end is so very touching and just reduces me to tears :).

Firefly. That is hard because there are too many favourite scenes. I like the scene at the beggining of OOG when they are all having lunch together. It's so natural :)

My personal favorite is in Our Mrs. Reynolds, when Morena is sitting in Mal's bunk. It is just hilarious because she looks so guilty and scared, and just oh-so-ungraceful!

And of course, "I knew you let her kiss you."

I have a few...

First, when Simon drugs Jayne in "the train Job". "Did he just go crazy and fall down?"

Kaylee at the Party in Shindig.

Jayne in Heart of Gold.

WEll, everything with Jayne in it..

And from Serenity, my favourite bit would have to be when River goes crazy and beats up everyone, Jayne included...and the conversation about what happened when they are back onboard serenity.

Favorite outtake is from the BDM, on Haven when Mal adlibs the lines about puttin' Book front and center, and the Baby Jesus takin' a dirt nap.

Favorite deleted scene is from Our Mrs Reynolds when River snatches the pillow off Saf's bed then uses it to "be pregnant". That whole scene is just too funny!

One of my fav scenes is Mal near the end of Shindig, and his lines about a good man while poking Ath with the sword. Big ole giggle every time!

Got a lot of favourite moments too - so it's hard to pick. Sometimes it's just a scene, or a line, or even the way someone says something, or the look on their face.

But the one thing that I have always had stick in my mind is River dancing in SAFE. Just to see her look so happy and care-free and just enjoying herself for a few minutes, just made me smile.

I'll try to narrow it down to one, though EVERY second of the series and movie were amazing!

But, I think my favorite scene/piece of dialogue was Mal's "Huh" after seeing River for the first time in the cryobox in Serenity (the pilot Firefly episode.)

The dino scene for sure (I have my kids reciting it) and just because I watched it today - the first minutes of Our Mrs. Reynolds. The looks on Nathan Fillion's face as he's trying to understand that he has a wife are priceless. Everyone in that scene cracks me up!

(TV-Series, sorry, Objects in Space) Yes, that lunch seen is hilarious and is really funny for this one specific set of responses between Jayne and Wash.

There talking about River being phsycic and Jayne talks about River being a Witch and Wash says

"Yes Jayne, shes a witch, shes had congress with the beast"

That is Hi-larious to me!!!

hmm, there's a few, the first one that came to mind was the "bible's broken" scene, I think that's some of the most amusing river dialouge (i hope that's how you spell that lol)

Then there's of course the dinosaur scene, I did name myself after it lol.

I like the first scene between simon and early in objects; "So you're a bounty hunter" "no, that aint it at all" "so what are you then?" "I'm a bounty hunter" that always makes me giggle.

There's many more (I love pretty much every scene in the series) but those are the ones that jumped out at me as I was put on the spot here :)

anything with Wash in, of course, but watch the scene in Jaynestown when Kaylee and Simon Are having that discussion, starting off with kaylee saying "we get on just fine ..." and see if you can spot the subliminal message, I only noticed it second time round when watching with my friends, and we almost wet ourselves laughing!!!

I love Wash! Bring back Wash!
