Nothing more to say about it really than that. I don't know anything about this film at all.

But I just heard that it's projected to make $550k on opening night, with a $100 MILLION dollar budget.

Holy shit some people are going to be fired on Monday.

Do we really NEEEEED a 6ixstringjack making comments about a movie he knows nothing about? A whole thread dedicated to you not knowing anything about something??

I know a lot about this particular subject and I'm gonna have to go with "NO".

I know a bit about money, and only recouping 1/200th of your investment on opening night isn't good.

I don't have to know shit about Cats to know the answer to the question I put in the thread title.

Glad you agree though with your great knowledge about the subject matter. It would have been silly to hear you argue the contrary.

I'm sure "Cats" will leave an historical mark in film history, much the way "Rock Of Ages" did a few years ago.

Yes, we could have had a "Cats" 2019, but the director made a Acid flashback instead. One critic on YOUTUBE who trashed it said, it's a movie best watched stoned. And this coming from a critic that liked "The Last Jedi", it had to be bad. (even the access critics hated it) So if you go to this flick, light up a joint in the car, get good and stoned, then go watch all the pretty colors.

Hey... I can't fault them too hard. I remember seeing Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight about a dozen times with a few buddies when it hit the dollar theater when I was in high school. We may or may not have been high.
