I recently registered and have a couple of newbish questions:

1) Is there a search function for the community boards? I have a couple ideas for posts but I'd hate to put up something that has been revisited 100's of times over.

2)Is there a FAQ for such newbish questions as the one above, Blue Sun Room etiquette, and the like?

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I know there is a way to search using google, but I'm not sure the exact way to phrase your search. I think there was even a thread started long ago to give tips on how to navigate the site. Someone else will come along and explain I am sure.

I've been here long enough to have seen most everything discussed many times over (except Real World Events, I tend to stay out of that forum), but I am sure this is a place that will not get bent out of shape if you bring up something that has already been discussed. With so many noobs arriving on a daily basis, I think it is inevitable that is going to happen.

No matter how many times and different ways it has been approached, we never get tired of talking about Firefly/Serenity.

yeah, I think the easiest search is to go to google and go fireflyfans + whatever topic

but also, don't worry about repeating a topic, if it hasn't been discussed in a while then new fans would probably share your interest, and old fans may have thought more about it and be open to discussing it again....
