I must vent about the Limey. Not about the episode, but rather the actor. The accent? It was like I was listening to two accents at the same time. I know that actor can do an acceptable generalized American accent. He did one (I think) in an episode of CSI:NY and in an episode of NCIS. But British? No. The Aussie came through just too much. The only thing I can compare it to was Gabrielle Anwar's attempt at an Irish accent on the first episode of Burn Notice. Which even the creator kind of admitted was not a good idea. My other complaint is small...the role's relationship to Kate was WAY too close to what happened with his role's relationship with Tess on McLeod's Daughters, which was exactly where I was hoping they would not take Castle. I hate not wanting an actor to have work, but if that character is never in another episode, I and my ears shall be very happy.

Am I the only one?

No more running. I aim to misbehave.

I did not notice the accent inconsistencies when it came to the character being British. I thought he should not have pretended to be part of Homeland Security-- that accent stunk. Maybe that was the whole point for the particular scene. I don't know. The only problem I had with "The Limey" was Castle and Beckett. How hard is it to say "I love you" when you are both in the same room? Really...
